This product was introduced to me at the 2017 Montreal Veg Fest: Le Minot, Organic Chickpea Fries. After tasting a sample at the event, I was hooked. Made only with simple ingredients, I was excited trying different recipes with this product.
Sometimes we need a little sugar in our lives, am I right? Before I became conscience of what is in traditional marshmallows, I would love eat to them in s’mores, desserts and on their own. Then I slowly learned what is gelatin and became kind of disgusted by them which lead me to stop eating it. That is until I found these vegan ones from Dandies.
This week I tested out matcha tea from DoMatcha. I wouldn’t consider this a vegan product, more of a health product, but for many others, including myself, both goes hand and hand. The last time I had matcha tea was at Starbucks a few years back. While I wasn’t thinking about the quality or the benefits of the matcha back then, it really got me interested when I was demoed the product at Kardish last weekend.
First taste test is the Daiya Medium Cheddar Style dairy-free ‘cheese’. Daiya was the first vegan cheese I ever tried. Their mozzarella and cheddar style shreds on pizza is definitely a must try!
